La excelente calidad de la alfalfa&nbsp;espa\u00f1ola (cultivada principalmente en Arag\u00f3n, Catalu\u00f1a y Castilla-Le\u00f3n), unido a las 74&nbsp;plantas deshidratadoras extendidas por el territorio, convierten a Espa\u00f1a en el \u00fanico pa\u00eds del&nbsp;mundo que ofrece una alfalfa deshidratada de alt\u00edsima calidad que asegura un elevado nivel de&nbsp;seguridad alimentaria adem\u00e1s de unas \u00f3ptimas condiciones de conservaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cerca de 1,3 millones de toneladas de alfalfa fueron exportadas tras la \u00faltima campa\u00f1a,&nbsp;principalmente a Emiratos \u00c1rabes y China. Esta cifra confirma que Espa\u00f1a se ha afianzado&nbsp;como primer fabricante y exportador mundial de alfalfa deshidratada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El portal AgroNews Castilla y Leon de Espa\u00f1a, describe que dentro del territorio nacional, Arag\u00f3n es la comunidad aut\u00f3noma con mayor superficie dedicada\u00a0al cultivo de la alfalfa con m\u00e1s de 57.000 hect\u00e1reas, concentradas en un su mayor\u00eda en el Valle\u00a0del Ebro, y la que m\u00e1s cantidad de alfalfa produce alcanzando las 750.000 toneladas. Con una\u00a0notable diferencia, le sigue Catalu\u00f1a con una superficie de 23.205 hect\u00e1reas de cultivo y una\u00a0producci\u00f3n de 250.000 toneladas de alfalfa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El Consejero de Agricultura, Ganader\u00eda y Medio Ambiente del Gobierno de Arag\u00f3n ha destacado la posici\u00f3n de liderazgo que ejerce&nbsp;la comunidad que representa en la producci\u00f3n mundial de alfalfa. \u00abEstamos hablando de un sector perfectamente&nbsp;internacionalizado que nos permite llegar desde Arag\u00f3n a los cinco continentes\u00bb y ha&nbsp;destacado \u00absu contribuci\u00f3n al crecimiento de la econom\u00eda, al empleo y al desarrollo sostenible&nbsp;en el medio rural\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Desde el sector reivindican como generador de empleo cerca del territorio. \u201cNuestro modelo de&nbsp;negocio, frente a la industria de otros pa\u00edses como EEUU, tiene que estar en el territorio.&nbsp;Aseguramos que no exista despoblaci\u00f3n y aseguramos el relevo generacional. Es una industria&nbsp;consolidada\u201d, ha mantenido Francisco Tabuenca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Asimismo, Olona ha promovido la alfalfa como&nbsp;un producto que \u201cofrece prote\u00edna vegetal, que va a estar en alza. Fija nitr\u00f3geno e interviene en&nbsp;otro aspecto muy importante en la nueva Pol\u00edtica Agraria Com\u00fan (PAC), como la rotaci\u00f3n de cultivos. Adem\u00e1s, contribuye a&nbsp;muchos objetivos ambientales como la reducci\u00f3n de productos fitosanitarios\u201d, y ha afirmado que&nbsp;\u201ces dif\u00edcil encontrar un inconveniente\u201d al
