La provincia de La Rioja pretende introducirse en el negocio exportador de alfalfa, ya que es un producto muy demandado por los pa\u00edses \u00e1rabes. Actualmente, la producci\u00f3n de alfalfa en la provincia es de alrededor de 300 hect\u00e1reas; y es necesario un piso muy superior para comenzar a hacer negocios hacia estos destinos, seg\u00fan lo analiz\u00f3 la C\u00e1mara Riojana de Productores Agr\u00edcolas (CARPA) tras una gira realizada por Dubai y otros pa\u00edses miembros de los Emiratos \u00c1rabes Unidos junto a empresarios locales y representantes del gobierno nacional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLa gira fue positiva, porque existen muchas posibilidades de comerciar los productores riojanos\u201d, destac\u00f3 el presidente de CARPA, Mario Gonz\u00e1lez, quien consider\u00f3 que para ello, ser\u00e1 clave desarrollar el corredor bioce\u00e1nico del Pac\u00edfico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seg\u00fan public\u00f3 Multiplataforma F\u00e9nix de La Rioja, Gonz\u00e1lez sostuvo que \u201cse abre un panorama importante, con una apertura hacia las empresas riojanas\u201d, ya que remarc\u00f3 que \u201cexisten muchas posibilidades y hay que aprovecharlas\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sobre los productos en s\u00ed, manifest\u00f3 que \u201cest\u00e1n \u00e1vidos a comprar todo lo que producimos, como vinos, aceites de oliva, nueces, pistachos, alfalfa\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En relaci\u00f3n a la alfalfa, sostuvo la producci\u00f3n que\u201d tenemos es muy baja\u201d, y enfatiz\u00f3 que \u201chay que desarrollar un plan de plantaci\u00f3n de esta pastura, sobre todo en departamentos con posibilidades\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En ese marco, estim\u00f3 que \u201ctienen que ser 3 mil hect\u00e1reas\u201d, y que \u201choy estamos alrededor de las 300\u201d. \u201cHay mucho potencial para desarrollar, pero hay que escalar de a poco\u201d, al tiempo que consider\u00f3 tambi\u00e9n que se puede desarrollar con otras provincias como San Juan o Catamarca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLa calidad de los productos son buenos, en eso no hay problema. El tema es que Argentina est\u00e1 alejado de todo y que el costo de flete aument\u00f3 fuerte en todo el mundo\u201d, analiz\u00f3 y consider\u00f3 que para contrarrestar ello, \u201chay que desarrollar el corredor bioce\u00e1nico del Pac\u00edfico y consolidar los pasos fronterizos a Chile\u201d. \u201cLa salida a Chile tiene que ser un proyecto del pa\u00eds\u201d, explic\u00f3.<\/p>\n
