Reunir\u00e1 a m\u00e1s de 500 representantes del sector.<\/p><p>Jos\u00e9 Miguel Mulet, divulgador cient\u00edfico y catedr\u00e1tico de Biotecnolog\u00eda en la Universidad Polit\u00e9cnica de Valencia, ser\u00e1 uno de los ponentes de este foro.\u00a0<\/p><p>La intervenci\u00f3n se centrar\u00e1 en c\u00f3mo la<strong> tecnolog\u00eda CRISPR -una t\u00e9cnica de edici\u00f3n gen\u00e9tica-<\/strong> ayuda a mantener y mejorar el cultivo y defender\u00e1 la necesidad de recurrir a la ciencia para contrarrestar los efectos del cambio clim\u00e1tico. \u201cLo van a pasar fatal si no se hace nada al respecto\u201d, asegur\u00f3.<\/p><p>\u201cHar\u00e1n falta nuevas variedades que se adapten a un clima con unos dos grados m\u00e1s de temperatura. Hay que estar preparados para esto o no se podr\u00e1 ser rentable\u201d, sentenci\u00f3 Mulet.<\/p><p><strong>Un cultivo muy agradecido<\/strong><\/p><p>El <strong>abonado eficiente de la alfalfa<\/strong> ser\u00e1 otro de los temas que se abordar\u00e1n en la jornada de la mano de Jaume Lloveras, ingeniero agr\u00f3nomo y catedr\u00e1tico de Producci\u00f3n Vegetal de la Universitat de Lleida, que explicar\u00e1 a los asistentes los fundamentos de fertilizaci\u00f3n de la alfalfa en tres elementos b\u00e1sicos: <strong>nitr\u00f3geno, f\u00f3sforo y potasa<\/strong>.<\/p><p>En su ponencia, el experto explicar\u00e1 las <strong>claves para una adecuada fertilizaci\u00f3n de la alfalfa<\/strong> \u201cdonde la potasa tiene un papel determinante\u201d para conseguir que este cultivo que define como \u201cmuy agradecido y que resiste bien la falta de agua\u201d sea lo m\u00e1s rentable posible.<\/p><p>Asimismo, el foro ser\u00e1 la plataforma id\u00f3nea para que los expertos analicen los m\u00faltiples beneficios de este cultivo, entre ellos, su poder nitrificante, ya que <strong>aumenta el contenido de nitr\u00f3geno del suelo<\/strong>.<\/p><p>Por su parte, <strong>Xavier Pons<\/strong>, catedr\u00e1tico y coordinador del M\u00e1ster Interuniversitario Oficial de Protecci\u00f3n Integrada de Cultivos, hablar\u00e1 sobre el control de plagas. <em>\u201cEl cultivo de la avena, una alternativa en la producci\u00f3n de forrajes de calidad\u201d<\/em> es el t\u00edtulo de la conferencia de <strong>Abel Barrios<\/strong>, investigador del Instituto Tecnol\u00f3gico Agrario de Castilla y Le\u00f3n.<\/p><p>El viceconsejero de Pol\u00edtica Agraria Comunitaria y Desarrollo Rural de la Junta de Castilla y Le\u00f3n, <strong>Pedro Medina<\/strong>, analizar\u00e1 la incidencia de la PAC en los forrajes y el ingeniero agr\u00f3nomo, <strong>Daniel Basigalup<\/strong>, explicar\u00e1 el mejoramiento gen\u00e9tico de la alfalfa y la importancia de usar variedades modernas.<\/p><p>Las personas de las industrias asociadas a AEFA que est\u00e9n interesadas en asistir ya pueden\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.alfalfaspain.es\/jeca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">inscribirse<\/a>.
