\u00bfQu\u00e9 es lo que el mundo demanda en materia de desarrollo de alfalfas? es la pregunta que Daniel Basigalup <\/strong>responder\u00e1 en su ponencia en ExpoAlfa. El experto en Alfalfa y asesor privado, exINTA, ser\u00e1 parte de un amplio programa (ver aqu\u00ed<\/a>) que tiene los mejores disertantes del pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En di\u00e1logo con TodoAlfalfa<\/strong> explic\u00f3: \u201cMi idea es dar un pantallazo general de qu\u00e9 est\u00e1 haciendo el mundo y qu\u00e9 se est\u00e1 haciendo en materia de calidad, en materia de mejoramiento gen\u00e9tico, eficiencia de riego, etc\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cVoy a presentar algunas cositas que, por ejemplo, vi en China, en Pakist\u00e1n, en Estados Unidos, lo que hay ac\u00e1. De la forma como las empresas y las instituciones de investigaci\u00f3n est\u00e1n sacando ese tipo de cosas y pensando en un futuro\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Basigalup no solo es uno de los que mas experiencias ha sumado, sino que su pasi\u00f3n por la alfalfa lo llev\u00f3 a transformarse en uno de los mas sabios y ese cumulo de conocimiento lo lleva a recorrer el mundo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEn Argentina estamos viendo que si no recurrimos a una tecnolog\u00eda como esa (maquinas de secado) vamos a rescatar no m\u00e1s del 40 al 50 por ciento de los cortes que se hacen de calidad alta y el resto por problemas de lluvia y falta de humedad, vamos a tener problemas\u201d, analiza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adem\u00e1s, pidi\u00f3 que o solo se reclamen aportes estatales para poder concretar los proyectos productivos. \u201cTambi\u00e9n incluir\u00eda inversiones privadas, gente que tenga una plata importante para financiar esto. Puede ser un salto de cantidad y calidad extraordinario, que nos va a permitir exportar m\u00e1s y posicionar al pa\u00eds\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seg\u00fan Basigalup, poder concretar la construcci\u00f3n de una planta de deshidrataci\u00f3n propia llevar\u00eda una inversi\u00f3n de entre 3 y 4 millones de d\u00f3lares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adem\u00e1s, valor\u00f3 el inter\u00e9s de provincias como Mendoza y San Juan que est\u00e1n trabajando en generar desarrollos en alfalfa. \u201cCuanto m\u00e1s gente y zonas de producci\u00f3n incorporemos es mucho mejor porque esto es un negocio que no tiene l\u00edmite<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEl mercado mundial de heno hoy est\u00e1 desabastecido\u201d, explic\u00f3 y agreg\u00f3: \u201csi se produjera m\u00e1s, se podr\u00eda vender m\u00e1s\u201d. Pero el ingeniero agr\u00f3nomo tiene en claro que para que nuestro pa\u00eds alcance la calidad internacional es dif\u00edcil porque tenemos lluvias primavera, estival u oto\u00f1al.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Esa situaci\u00f3n \u201cte lleva a perder el 50 por ciento de los cortes, porque siempre llueve o hay alg\u00fan da\u00f1o\u201d. Ante ello, la formula para solucionarlo entiende es \u201caunar esfuerzos desde varios lados, generar un volumen como Alfalfa Argentina y con eso pelear otro tipo de condiciones econ\u00f3micas y comerciales\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
