Frente a este contexto, un equipo de especialistas del INTA Chaco-Formosa evalu\u00f3 la combinaci\u00f3n del pastoreo rotativo de verdeos de invierno de vicia y avena.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para Ver\u00f3nica Sauer -investigadora del INTA Las Bre\u00f1as, Chaco-, \u201ccombinar la siembra del ma\u00edz con pasturas o cultivos de servicios -como vicia o brachiarias- tiene amplios beneficios para la calidad del suelo\u201d. Aun as\u00ed, se dio un paso m\u00e1s: \u201cInstalamos cultivos de servicios con un pastoreo rotativo intensivo y, en plazos muy breves, volver a la agricultura consociada\u201d.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seg\u00fan la especialista, este manejo aplicado en plena zona productiva de invernada se surge como una alternativa mitigadora de efectos degradativos de las practicas agropecuarias. A su vez, este planteo mixto presenta muy buenos resultados en los \u00edndices productivos con ganancia diaria de peso vivo de los animales en la \u00e9poca de mayor escasez de recursos forrajeros -agosto-septiembre-.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, aporta a la mejora de suelos altamente degradados, mediante la instalaci\u00f3n de verdeos de invierno consociados, sucedidos por verdeos de verano -sorgo forrajero y vicia nativa- y ma\u00edz con brachiarias.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En este punto, Sauer detall\u00f3 que \u201chubo una eficiencia mayor al 70 % al inicio del pastoreo, lo que se explica por la mayor calidad del forraje, mayor contenido de prote\u00ednas y menos proporci\u00f3n de fibras. La disponibilidad forrajera se justo en funci\u00f3n a la eficiencia de cosecha logrando una disponibilidad de 2500 kg ha-1 de MS\u201d.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Y detall\u00f3: \u201cla oferta forrajera inicial fue de 500 kg de materia seca (MS) por hect\u00e1rea, en estado fenol\u00f3gico de bota en avena y vegetativo en vicia. Se realizaban determinaciones quincenales para ajustar la carga a la oferta forrajera y definir el tama\u00f1o de parcelas.
