Tras un abrupto freno en 2023, las exportaciones de harinas y pellets de alfalfa comenzaron a reactivarse en 2025, con env\u00edos exclusivamente hacia Chile, esta vez motorizados por inversiones locales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Durante 2021 y 2022, la actividad hab\u00eda experimentado un notable repunte gracias al ingreso de capitales internacionales, alcanzando un crecimiento del 87 % en valor FOB respecto a 2020. Sin embargo, en 2023 y 2024, la actividad se paraliz\u00f3 por completo debido al contexto desfavorable del comercio exterior. Este a\u00f1o, los env\u00edos al pa\u00eds trasandino vuelven a posicionar a San Juan en la ruta exportadora, aunque todav\u00eda con cifras modestas en comparaci\u00f3n con los m\u00e1ximos anteriores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La Secretar\u00eda de Coordinaci\u00f3n para el Desarrollo Econ\u00f3mico, a trav\u00e9s de la Direcci\u00f3n de Comercio Exterior \u2014dependiente del Ministerio de Producci\u00f3n, Trabajo e Innovaci\u00f3n\u2014 inform\u00f3 que la provincia cuenta actualmente con entre 6.000 y 7.000 hect\u00e1reas de alfalfa en producci\u00f3n, distribuidas en cinco valles clave. Esta geograf\u00eda productiva, combinada con suelos f\u00e9rtiles, un clima favorable y maquinaria de \u00faltima generaci\u00f3n, permite obtener un forraje de alta calidad nutricional, muy valorado por los mercados ganaderos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Departamentos como J\u00e1chal, Iglesia, Sarmiento, Pocito, Rawson, Angaco, Albard\u00f3n y el Este sanjuanino concentran la mayor parte de la producci\u00f3n, ya sea mediante grandes grupos empresariales o peque\u00f1os productores y cooperativas. En zonas como Niquivil, Villa Iglesia o el Valle de Tulum, se han reconvertido cultivos y aplicado tecnolog\u00edas como la nivelaci\u00f3n l\u00e1ser y maquinaria automatizada para enfardar y compactar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Durante 2022, San Juan logr\u00f3 diversificar sus destinos exportadores, incluyendo a Bolivia, Brasil y Qatar, adem\u00e1s de Chile. Si bien actualmente el \u00fanico destino activo es el mercado chileno, la provincia mantiene v\u00ednculos abiertos con esos pa\u00edses, lo que alimenta expectativas de expansi\u00f3n comercial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Desde el Gobierno provincial se trabaja activamente en la promoci\u00f3n del comercio exterior y en la consolidaci\u00f3n de una oferta exportable competitiva. La alfalfa, por su calidad y adaptabilidad, se posiciona como una de las principales apuestas dentro de esta estrategia de desarrollo econ\u00f3mico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fuente: <a
