Esta propuesta organizada por TodoAlfalfa.com.ar y el Instituto de Ciencias B\u00e1sicas de la UNVM, busca debatir con cuadros t\u00e9cnicos y productores c\u00f3mo se puede aumentar la cantidad y calidad de producci\u00f3n de alfalfa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Desde la organizaci\u00f3n decidieron extender la inscripci\u00f3n hasta el pr\u00f3ximo jueves 7 de agosto a ra\u00edz de las consultas que surgieron durante los \u00faltimos d\u00edas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-wp-embed is-provider-expoalfa-jornada-2025 wp-block-embed-expoalfa-jornada-2025\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"RxtDdqIDvL\"><a href=\"https:\/\/expoalfa.com.ar\/alfalfa\/expoalfa-jornada-2025\/diplomatura-alfalfas\/\">Diplomatura en Alfalfas de Calidad<\/a><\/blockquote><iframe class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute; visibility: hidden;\" title=\"\u00abDiplomatura en Alfalfas de Calidad\u00bb \u2014 ExpoAlfa Jornada 2025\" src=\"https:\/\/expoalfa.com.ar\/alfalfa\/expoalfa-jornada-2025\/diplomatura-alfalfas\/embed\/#?secret=Pc0eMp3Sil#?secret=RxtDdqIDvL\" data-secret=\"RxtDdqIDvL\" width=\"500\" height=\"282\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>En esta primera instancia, fue Juan Lus, Ingeniero Agr\u00f3nomo, asesor y profesor de la Universidad Nacional de Lomas de Zamora, el responsable de dar inicio a la jornada. En su clase, que se dividi\u00f3 en dos m\u00f3dulos de 45 minutos, abord\u00f3 las \u201cclaves para el logro de un cultivo exitoso\u201d y los \u201csistemas de siembra\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>En primer lugar plante\u00f3 las claves desde la decisi\u00f3n hasta los 100 primeros d\u00edas, algo que manifest\u00f3 es \u201cfundamental\u201d para sostener el proceso productivo del cultivo durante cuatro a\u00f1os. Puso como ejemplo una siembra durante la misma fecha en Santa Fe (donde las temperaturas fueron amenas) y San Luis (donde hubo heladas), all\u00ed se pudo ver el impacto negativo sobre el cultivo con t\u00e9cnica es de 20 kilogramos por hect\u00e1rea, sin embargo planteo como ejemplo una siembra de 13 kilos por hect\u00e1rea y mostr\u00f3 el efecto negativo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div Agr\u00f3nomo UNLP, Master y Doctor en Mejoramiento Gen\u00e9tico Vegetal por la Universidad de Minnesotta y consultor privado, quien abord\u00f3 el \u201cpanorama internacional de la alfalfa\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Como primer punto contextualiz\u00f3 donde se encuentra posicionada Argentina como productora de alfalfa respecto a los paises de la regi\u00f3n:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Argentina: 3,2 millones de hect\u00e1reas<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Uruguay: 70 mil hect\u00e1reas<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Chile: 180 mil hect\u00e1reas<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Per\u00fa: 120 mil hect\u00e1reas<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Brasil: 40 mil hect\u00e1reas<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bolivia: 70 mil hect\u00e1reas<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Mientras que a nivel mundial, de M. sativa (Ir\u00e1n,Turkmenist\u00e1n y O de Afganist\u00e1n\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La alfalfa ocupa en Pakist\u00e1n solo el 7% de la superficie destinada a forrajeras, lejos del tr\u00e9bol de Alejandr\u00eda (Trifolium alexandrinum) y del sorgo, los principales recursos forrajeros del pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Producci\u00f3n forrajera concentrada en Punjab (que en urd\u00fa significa \u201ccinco r\u00edos\u201d) bajo condiciones de regad\u00edo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este pa\u00eds presenta diversos problemas, entre ellos el muy bajo conocimiento de peque\u00f1os\/medianos productores sobre el cultivo, alta variabilidad e imprevisibilidad en la provisi\u00f3n de agua de riego, que normalmente es escasa; deficiente producci\u00f3n nacional de semilla, insuficiente disponibilidad y baja calidad (bajo PG, alta infestaci\u00f3n de cuscuta y otras malezas y baja pureza; importaci\u00f3n de variedades obsoletas y de bajo potencial gen\u00e9tico; mayor\u00eda de explotaciones de reducido tama\u00f1o (\u2264 2 a 3 ha), lo que dificulta el uso de maquinaria moderna y eficiente; alta presi\u00f3n de malezas e insuficientes m\u00e9todos de control; necesidad de nuevos cultivares con alto potencial de rendimiento y adaptaci\u00f3n a los estreses abi\u00f3ticos (alta temperaturas, sequ\u00eda, salinidad, etc.); manejo inadecuado de la fertilidad de los suelos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En tanto que China, el gigante asi\u00e1tico, cultiva alfalfa desde hace 2.000 a\u00f1os y posee abundantes recursos gen\u00e9ticos distribuidos en el N y SO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div
