El momento que atraviesa el sector alfalfero \u201cva a encontrar un problema de crecimiento\u201d, asegura Gast\u00f3n Urrets Zaval\u00eda, ingeniero agr\u00f3nomo y referente del INTA en di\u00e1logo con TodoAlfalfa. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

En el marco del Congreso Forrajero que se desarroll\u00f3 en C\u00f3rdoba capital, lo abordamos y analizamos la actualidad. \u201cEstamos notando una maduraci\u00f3n de mercado, por ejemplo, la valoraci\u00f3n del producto por precio por kilo y seg\u00fan calidad\u201d, es un buen indicio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adem\u00e1s, agreg\u00f3 que hay cosas como \u201cla adopci\u00f3n tecnol\u00f3gica que antes no suced\u00edan. Antes era impensada hablar de foliares para alfalfa\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Se declar\u00f3 el a\u00f1o del \u201crastrillo girosc\u00f3pico\u201d indic\u00f3 y dijo que esos saltos tecnol\u00f3gicos que hace cinco a\u00f1os no los veias, hoy son muy positivos. Sin embargo, \u201cla masificaci\u00f3n de la producci\u00f3n va a generar una sobre oferta que llevar\u00e1 a bajar precios\u201d, adelanta Urrets Zaval\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Por eso es clave tener herramientas, alternativas, soluciones a esos problemas para que la alfalfa sea secada, industrializada y exportada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Para el gerente del Cl\u00faster de Alfalfa de C\u00f3rdoba, \u201csi vos te vas a meter en la alfalfa, ten\u00e9s que ser consciente de los riesgos, las dificultades.. Es un negocio muy interesante, pero tambi\u00e9n es artesanal y es para apasionados\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTen\u00e9s que trabajar de noche esperando la humedad, trabajar con una cantidad de variables que no es solo sembrar, seguir m\u00e1s o menos las malezas y al final cosechar como en los granos (ejemplific\u00f3 la actividad agr\u00edcola muy por arriba), sino que es m\u00e1s parecido al trabajo de un tambo\u201d, apunt\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSiete cortes al a\u00f1o, exigencia de humedad, los problemas, si est\u00e1 muy h\u00famedo, muy seco, si se cae la hoja, m\u00e1s todo el desaf\u00edo del comercial. Entonces, entendemos que es un negocio muy interesante, pero tambi\u00e9n va a pasar eso. Muchos jugadores que entraron por creer que era abollar pasto, van a quedar en el camino. Ahora, los que se profesionalicen, sumen tecnolog\u00eda, se capaciten y se formen, van a encontrar un buen negocio\u00bb, cerr\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
