{"id":52442,"date":"2026-04-28T07:03:54","date_gmt":"2026-04-28T10:03:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.todoalfalfa.com.ar\/noticias\/?p=52442"},"modified":"2026-04-28T07:03:57","modified_gmt":"2026-04-28T10:03:57","slug":"la-alfalfa-tendra-su-dia-mundial","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.todoalfalfa.com.ar\/noticias\/la-alfalfa-tendra-su-dia-mundial\/","title":{"rendered":"La alfalfa tendr\u00e1 su d\u00eda mundial"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Desde TodoAlfalfa\/SomosAlfalfa buscamos instaurar el D\u00eda Mundial de la Alfalfa, una propuesta que no es sencilla, pero que entendemos es una necesidad para que el sector cuente con un d\u00eda donde \u201cla reina de las forrajeras\u201d sea reconocida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esta iniciativa busca que en esa jornada, todos los actores de la cadena destaquen los aportes que la alfalfa realiza al mundo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 esa fecha?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esta idea se fundamenta en un hecho de relevancia cient\u00edfica como lo fue el nacimiento de Carl Linnaeus en 1707, figura central en la historia de la bot\u00e1nica y creador del sistema de clasificaci\u00f3n binomial que a\u00fan rige la nomenclatura de las especies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La publicaci\u00f3n de Species Plantarum en 1753 marc\u00f3 un punto de inflexi\u00f3n en las ciencias naturales, al establecer un lenguaje com\u00fan y universal para la identificaci\u00f3n de las plantas. Fue all\u00ed donde se formaliz\u00f3 la denominaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica de la alfalfa como Medicago sativa, otorg\u00e1ndole identidad dentro del sistema taxon\u00f3mico global.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Reconocer un cient\u00edfico que propuso un lenguaje universal<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En este sentido, la elecci\u00f3n del d\u00eda no responde a una l\u00f3gica productiva local ni a un hito regional, sino a un fundamento cient\u00edfico de alcance mundial, lo que le confiere legitimidad, neutralidad e identidad integradora.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Atributos que marcan la diferencia<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Designar este d\u00eda presenta atributos diferenciales que fortalecen su proyecci\u00f3n internacional:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Base cient\u00edfica universal<\/strong>: al vincular la fecha con el origen del sistema moderno de clasificaci\u00f3n biol\u00f3gica, se establece un respaldo reconocido por academias, universidades y centros de investigaci\u00f3n de todo el mundo.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Car\u00e1cter global y apol\u00edtico<\/strong>: al no estar asociada a calendarios agr\u00edcolas espec\u00edficos ni a eventos nacionales, la fecha se constituye como un punto de encuentro com\u00fan para todos los pa\u00edses productores y actores del sistema agroalimentario.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Jerarquizaci\u00f3n institucional<\/strong>: el v\u00ednculo con el legado de Linneo eleva el posicionamiento de la iniciativa, favoreciendo la adhesi\u00f3n de instituciones cient\u00edficas, educativas y organismos internacionales.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Son parte de esta propuesta: la <strong>C\u00e1mara Argentina de la Alfalfa<\/strong>, la <strong>Asociaci\u00f3n Espa\u00f1ola de Fabricantes de Alfalfa Deshidratada<\/strong>, la A<strong>sociaci\u00f3n Italiana de Forraje Deshidratado<\/strong>, el <strong>Cl\u00faster de Alfalfa<\/strong>, la <strong>C\u00e1mara Argentino de Comercio y Servicios Para Emiratos \u00c1rabes Unidos<\/strong>, el <strong>Instituto de Ciencias B\u00e1sicas y Aplicadas de la UNVM<\/strong>, la <strong>Facultad de Ciencias Agrarias (UNR)<\/strong>, el <strong>Centro Pyme ADENEU (Neuqu\u00e9n)<\/strong>, el podcast<strong> Dos Por el Pasto<\/strong>, <strong>Nehuen <\/strong>y <strong>Grupo TodoAgro<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para sumarte a esta iniciativa escrib\u00ed a <a href=\"&#x6d;&#97;&#x69;&#108;t&#x6f;&#58;i&#x6e;&#102;&#x6f;&#x40;s&#x6f;&#109;o&#x73;&#97;&#x6c;&#x66;a&#x6c;&#102;a&#x2e;&#99;o&#x6d;&#46;&#x61;&#114;\">&#x69;&#x6e;&#x66;&#x6f;&#64;&#115;&#111;&#109;osa&#x6c;&#x66;&#x61;&#x6c;&#x66;&#97;&#46;&#99;om&#46;&#x61;&#x72;<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>La alfalfa tiene ese \u201cdiferencial\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La alfalfa es reconocida mundialmente como uno de los cultivos forrajeros de mayor valor, no solo por su aporte a la producci\u00f3n ganadera, sino tambi\u00e9n por su rol clave en la sostenibilidad de los sistemas agropecuarios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Entre sus principales contribuciones se destacan:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Fijaci\u00f3n Biol\u00f3gica de Nitr\u00f3geno (FBN)<\/strong>, este proceso reduce la necesidad de fertilizantes sint\u00e9ticos y mejora la eficiencia productiva.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mejora de la salud del suelo<\/strong>, mediante el aporte de materia org\u00e1nica, la estructuraci\u00f3n del perfil y la promoci\u00f3n de la biodiversidad ed\u00e1fica.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Regulaci\u00f3n h\u00eddrica<\/strong>, contribuyendo al control de napas fre\u00e1ticas y a la optimizaci\u00f3n del uso del agua.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Refugio de biodiversidad<\/strong>, actuando como h\u00e1bitat para diversas especies de fauna.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Promoci\u00f3n de la polinizaci\u00f3n<\/strong>, favoreciendo la actividad de insectos ben\u00e9ficos y fortaleciendo los servicios ecosist\u00e9micos.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>23 de mayo, D\u00cdA MUNDIAL DE LA ALFALFA<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por lo que pensamos que establecer el 23 de mayo como D\u00eda Mundial de la Alfalfa implica reconocer no solo la importancia productiva de este cultivo, sino tambi\u00e9n su valor cient\u00edfico, ambiental y estrat\u00e9gico a escala global.
