{"id":52448,"date":"2026-04-29T12:17:16","date_gmt":"2026-04-29T15:17:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.todoalfalfa.com.ar\/noticias\/?p=52448"},"modified":"2026-04-29T12:17:19","modified_gmt":"2026-04-29T15:17:19","slug":"pellfood-apuesta-a-la-economia-circula-con-compostaje-de-alfalfa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.todoalfalfa.com.ar\/noticias\/pellfood-apuesta-a-la-economia-circula-con-compostaje-de-alfalfa\/","title":{"rendered":"Pellfood apuesta a la econom\u00eda circula con compostaje de alfalfa"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Con el objetivo de innovar, extender la vida \u00fatil de determinados productos y apostar a la econom\u00eda circular, la empresa Pellfood trabaja en el desarrollo de compostaje de alfalfa, una apuesta que est\u00e1 dando sus primeros pasos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mauro Bollatti, uno de los integrantes de la empresa, dijo a TodoAlfalfa que el objetivo es \u201cextender el ciclo de vida de productos y materiales, priorizando compartir, reparar, reutilizar y reciclar\u201d.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHace un tiempo surgi\u00f3 la idea de buscarle un destino, y se nos ocurri\u00f3 la idea de indagar e investigar sobre compostaje y sus usos. A diferencia del modelo lineal de \u2018usar y tirar\u2019, este enfoque reduce residuos y maximiza recursos, promoviendo la regeneraci\u00f3n de la naturaleza\u201d, valor\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para la producci\u00f3n se utilizar\u00e1n restos de rollos de alfalfa. \u201cSon el desperdicio de la materia prima que ingresamos diariamente a planta\u201d, indic\u00f3 y sum\u00f3: \u201clo que se da\u00f1a, producto de que los mismos se guardan a cielo abierto sufriendo las inclemencias del clima en vez de tirarse, como suced\u00eda antes, ahora se reutiliza\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div propuesta?:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Reducci\u00f3n de residuos: Dise\u00f1ar productos para que sus materiales se mantengan dentro de la econom\u00eda tras su vida \u00fatil.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sostenibilidad: Disminuye el uso de recursos naturales y la contaminaci\u00f3n.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Revalorizaci\u00f3n: Transforma residuos en recursos para nuevos procesos productivos.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>En lo que refiere al proceso, est\u00e1 dividida en diversas fases, y seg\u00fan grafic\u00f3 Bolatti, la primera es la<strong> fase mesofila 1<\/strong>, que es el inicio del compostaje. Luego se pasa a la <strong>fase termifila<\/strong>, que refiere a la higienizaci\u00f3n del compostaje, mientras que en la fase <strong>mesofila 2 <\/strong>se logra la estabilidad y maduraci\u00f3n.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLa duraci\u00f3n del proceso va de los 90 a los 130 d\u00edas, tiempo durante el cual la alfalfa considerada \u2018desperdicio\u2019 se transforma en tierra f\u00e9rtil\u201d, indic\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sobre el espacio para la producci\u00f3n, explic\u00f3 que \u201cla planta de compostaje posee un sistema de procesamiento de \u2018sistema abierto\u2019, en l\u00edneas o pilas prism\u00e1ticas triangulares utilizando un tractor con pala y un volteador compostador de arrastre de 3 mts de ancho como herramientas \u201ctodav\u00eda no tenemos nada definido en cuanto al rumbo final que le vamos a dar, ya que estamos aprendiendo sobre el tema y haciendo pruebas, la idea original fue darle un uso productivo a algo que hasta hace un tiempo se desechaba\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En la actualidad, esta propuesta busca, a modo de prueba, \u201chacer tierra org\u00e1nica de alfalfa, que sirve para fertilizar plantas y jardines, algo m\u00e1s para uso dom\u00e9stico en, por ejemplo, viveros\u201d, apunt\u00f3.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cTambi\u00e9n estamos haciendo pruebas con decantaci\u00f3n, generando un \u201ct\u00e9 de compost\u201d, que tendr\u00eda como funci\u00f3n la fertilizaci\u00f3n agr\u00edcola, buscando hacer una especie de foliar, para mejorar el rendimiento de la producci\u00f3n del campo\u201d, sostuvo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEl objetivo es no desperdiciar nada, y darle a ese antiguo desecho, un valor agregado, para que genere valor por si solo y nos permita cerrar el ciclo,
